Anju is the author of two well received books, A Journey to the Heavens and A Wedding in the House. Born into Modi Family of Modi Nagar, she is married into the well known Poddar family of Kolkata. She is exposed to Hindu traditions and culture on a daily
basis, being a part of families steeped in rich Hindu traditions and beliefs.A successful homemaker, Anju is well read and has trave led widely. She has done her Honours in Sanskrit from Meerut Universtiy followed by B.E. from the University of Oklahama, U.S.A.
